Here
are some pictures taken on a cruise with the Dutch two masted schooner
"Noorderlicht" during July 6th to July 17th 2006 along the West- and North-Coast
of Spitsbergen, Svalbard.
Thanks to Gert Ritzema, the Dutch captain of the ship,
who understood exactly where he needed to take his ship in order to get the best
opportunities for photograpers and nature lovers. Thanks to the Danish expedition
leader Christian Frimodt-Moller for his patience and good leadership. Also thanks to
the rest of the crew and all the fellow passengers who made the trip an unforgettable
